Our Approach

THE TASK.
THE SITE.
THE RIGHT QUESTIONS.

Access Enquiries For Aberdeen Facilities Teams

We focus on the information facilities managers, contractors, landlords and project teams need before arranging hire. That means understanding where the machine will stand, what it must reach and how it will enter the site.

Enquiries can cover warehouses, factories, offices, schools and other commercial or institutional buildings. Different buildings introduce different restrictions, so the useful starting point is your actual task rather than a standard machine recommendation.

Clear Equipment Choices

Our solutions cover cherry pickers, scissor lifts, telescopic and articulated boom lifts, spider lifts and general access-platform selection. Telehandler enquiries are handled as materials-handling tasks, with the load and working radius specified separately from personnel access.

We also explain the difference between MEWP checks, maintenance and thorough examination. The aim is a clear enquiry that identifies the equipment or inspection scope, the site requirements and the questions still needing an answer.

Standards And Responsibilities

Commercial work at height needs to be planned under the Work at Height Regulations 2005. PUWER applies to work equipment suitability and use, and LOLER addresses lifting equipment and the planning and examination duties that apply to it. These requirements form part of the framework used in Scotland.

The supplied equipment must be suitable for the task and used within its manufacturer’s instructions. Operator competence, familiarisation, ground conditions and emergency arrangements need to be settled before use. No general website advice can approve a particular site or lifting operation.

Read the HSE work at height guidance, PUWER guidance and LOLER guidance.

What Happens To Your Enquiry

When you complete the form, we ask for your agreement before your details may be passed to a suitable local firm. That firm can discuss the specification, availability and commercial terms relevant to your request.

Sending an enquiry does not reserve a machine or create a hire contract. Review the proposal, responsibilities and written terms with the responding firm before ordering. Our privacy notice explains how enquiry information is used.
